GDPR: Where we handle personal information of individuals located in the European Economic Area in our capacity as a data processor on behalf of a client, we comply with the applicable requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as directed by the relevant data controller.

7. How We Protect Personal Information

B.Worthy Intelligence takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Our security measures include:

  • Access controls and multi-factor authentication on systems holding personal information
  • Storage of personal information in reputable, secure cloud platforms
  • Confidentiality obligations imposed on contractors and service providers with access to personal information

  • Client engagement records, including personal information collected in the course of an engagement, are retained for a minimum of 5 years following the conclusion of the engagement

  • Personal information that is no longer required is securely deleted or destroyed

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to one or more individuals, B.Worthy Intelligence will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

10. Access and Correction

Individuals have the right to request access to personal information we hold about them and to request correction of any inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information.
